Hyperwater, Year: 2019, International Competition Finalist
“Hyperwater” is an expressive architectural journey through the motif of water, as a respond to Finnish Pavilion Design at La Biennale di Venezia 2020. The undulating installation made of corrugated cardboard, blanketing the pavilion floor, and providing a seating area for the visitors. It will be used for viewing the video projections, events, talks and performances. Cardboard is a material that becomes fragile when in contact with water. With the material selection, we want to highlight how the built environment relates to water and how water shapes the ways we build informing cultural public spaces.
