Divergent, Year: 2019
This Mixed-Use project is located at second avenue neighboring Kips Bay Towers designed by architects I.M. Pei and S. J. Kessler. The overall building form is intended to help completing the parade of the neighborhood creating an icon for future of second avenue. New York City’s advanced zoning regulations are used as an opportunity to propose an idiosyncratic facade, which form a speculative development promoting social, cultural and urbanistic values by setting aesthetically connective dialogue with neighborhood. The design is carefully proportioned and balanced the openings on facade for natural light and ventilation of all 78 condominium units.
